EPISODE 117 1st Corinthians 9 is broken up into two podcasts. The first podcast talks about setting things aside not for Pauls benefit but for the ability to share the gospel without possibility of reproach..

Paul continues to answer questions but Paul takes on the topic by starting with where the Corinthians are at in their thinking as they consider eating previously sacrificed meat to pagan idols. This podcast goes deeper than that. 

Marriage, Temptation, Celibacy, Immorality, Is it better to be married or not? Should married Christians have sex or stay celibate? Paul continues to answer the questions asked by the church.  A great episode to listened to. 

Apostle Paul continues to admonish the Church members for their actions. He addresses another issue that he knows will put Christianity in the wrong light among the unbelievers... 

1 CORINTHIANS, CHAPTER 5, Paul confronts the church for ignoring an ongoing case of incest by a member of the church. What do the members of the Church do? This is the issue.. WHAT MUST BE DONE! 

Paul calls out all those Corinthian Christian Church members admonishing them to stop making themselves judges of each other. Their lives are lived in the comfort of wealth and status while the apostles serve Christ in poverty and under persecution, imitating Christ and yet the church members are casting judgement on Paul... 

The Corinthian Church highlights how we should view the general state of our immaturity and fleshliness. Paul writes how he fed them with milk teaching them the most basic things about God and what it means to be a Christian. Time to grow up?

It wasn't Paul's excellence of speech or intelligence...Worldly Wisdom is useless and Paul reminds us that we should only depend on the power of God...The message of the cross was declared by Paul then and is declared by Paul now. The Good News is that when we place our trust in Jesus Christ...we are saved..

United in thought and Purpose In 1 Corinthians Chapter 1, Paul deals with a great number of problems that this young and struggling church in the city of Corinth are dealing with. Paul deals with topics such as the  Trinity, Unity of Mind, Immorality, Sexuality, Issues of Leadership and so much more. 

Greetings One Another. How do we do just that? How important is greeting people? Consider all the "One Another Principles" In the final Chapter of Romans - Paul gives recognition to those who have played an important part in the church. Share the word is a great commission project focused on sharing the big ideas of the new testament chapter by chapter. 

The One Another Subject is important in Chapter 15.  Paul reminds us that every believer has the responsibility to one another. Should a true friend of faith allow us to fall. Admonishing should always be done in Love... Admonish and turn them back to God's ways
