પર્વતીય ક્ષેત્રમાં જ્યાં પર્યટક હરવા-ફરવા માટે આવેલા યાત્રીઓને બરફ વર્ષા જ્યાં અલૌકિક આનંદ આપે છે, ત્યાં હૉટ ટુરિસ્ટ સ્પોટની થોડે દૂર પર્વતીય વિસ્તારમાં રહેતા લોકો માટે એવુ સંકટ છે જે તમામ જરૂરિયાતની ચીજ-વસ્તુથી વંચિત રાખે છે. હિમાચલ પ્રદેશના પાંગી અને વ્યારા બે ગામનો સંપર્ક હિમપાતના ૯ મહિના તુટેલો રહે છે.

એ વાત સાચી છે કે અસલ ભારત ગામડાઓમાં વસે છે. જો તમારે આદર્શ ગામડું જોવું હોય તો ચાલો મધ્યપ્રદેશના નરસિંહપુરના બધુવાર ગામમાં ! સ્વચ્છ સફળ થયેલ માર્ગો, ભૂમિગત નાળિયો, દરેક ઘરમાં શૌચાલય, રમવા માટે ઇનડોર સ્ટેડિયમ તેમજ ખાવાનું બનાવવા માટે બાયોગેસ સંયંત્ર. વર્ષોથી ગામનો કોઈ વિવાદ પોલીસ સ્ટેશન સુધી પહોંચ્યો નથી.

બેભાન બાળકના શરીર પર જેમ જેમ ડૉક્ટરની આંગળીઓ ફરી રહી હતી, બાળકમાં થઇ રહેલું હલન ચલન જોઇ માતાની આંખોમાં તેજ વધી રહ્યું હતું. બેટાની સારવાર માટે પૈસો પાણીની વ્હેવડાવ્યા પછી સાજા થવાની કોઇ આશા નહોતી. ડૉ. પરલકરે ફીનો એક પણ રૂપીયો નહોતો લીધો. આ ચમત્કાર ડૉ. પરલકરજીના હાથના માલિશનો હતો કે એ નિ:સ્વાર્થ સેવાભાવનો જે માધવરાવજીની ધમનીઓમાં લોહી બની વહી રહ્યો હતો. ગંભીર પક્ષાઘાતથી પીડાતો બાળક 6 કલાકમાંજ ઉઠી બે...

ઢગેવાડી મહારાષ્ટ્રનું એક નાનકડું ગામ. આપમાંથી મોટેભાગે કોઇ ઢગેવાડી ગયા નહી હોય, શક્ય છે કે તેનું નામ સુદ્ધાં પણ સાંભળીયું નહી હોય. પરંતુ 32 વર્ષ પૂર્વ એક દંપતિ ત્યાં પહોંચી અને પોતાની સંકલ્પ શક્તિ દ્વારા આ અનામી ગામનું ચિત્ર જ બદલી નાખ્યું. 1985ના વર્ષની વાત છે.

ચારેબાજુ રંગ જ રંગ પથરાયેલો છે. પીળો, જાંબુડી, લાલ, લીલો વગેરે. આ રંગોથી તરબોળ હાથોમાં નાનકડી પિચકારીઓ લઇ બાળગોપાલ, જશોદામૈયાઓ સાથે હોળીનો આનંદ ઉઠાવી રહ્યાં હતાં. જાણે લાગી રહ્યું હતું કે જગતની બધી ખુશીઓ આજે માતૃછાયાના આંગણામાં સમેટાઇ ગઇ હતી.

કેદાર ઘાટીમાં જે જળપ્રલય આવ્યો હતો તે ભાગ્યે જ કોઈ ભૂલ્યું હશે. આપણે બધાએ જીવન આપનાર પાણીને આપત્તિ બને, લાશોની દુર્ગંધ વચ્ચે માનવતા કણશે, અલકનંદાએ યાત્રાળુઓની લાચારી પર મૌન આંસુ વહાવે, આપણે બધાએ આપણા ઘરોમાં ટીવી ચેનલો પર આ બધું જોયું.

नशे में धुत पति से हर रोज मार खाती, सारे अपमानचुपचाप सह जाती। इस नशे ने, ना जाने कितनी औरतों को कम उम्र में विधवा कर दिया था। वनवासी गांव की ये औरतें इस नारकीय जीवन को अपना भाग्य समझ कर जी रही थी।

अपने मन की मिट्टी को इतना उपजाऊ बनाओ, कि दुख की एक- एक बूंद अंकुरित होकर, छायादार, फलदार वृक्ष बनकर संपूर्ण राष्ट्र के काम आए। इसी दृढ़ निश्चय और पुनीत भाव का परिणाम है, “श्री पुजित रुपाणी मेमोरियल ट्रस्ट" राजकोट।कभी विद्यार्थी परिषद के प्रांत संगठन मंत्री रहे, आज गुजरात के मुख्यमंत्री श्रीमान विजय रुपाणी और उनकी पत्नी श्रीमती अंजलि जी द्वारा यह ट्रस्ट, उनके दिवंगत पुत्र पुजित की स्मृति में स्थापि...

यदि खेती का तरीका बदल दिया जाए व बाजार से बिचौलिए खत्म कर दें, तो छोटे व मझोले किसान भी अच्छा खासा कमा सकते हैं। इस बात को अपने प्रयोगों से सही साबित कर दिखाया है कर्नाटक में सावयव कृषि परिवार ने। 

रीता करमाकर, रूमा हज़ारा और रुखसाना खातून तीनों की पृष्ठ भूमि भले ही अलग-अलग हो, मगर उन्होंने अपनी सफलता की कहानी एक ही स्याही से उकेरी है- सेवा की स्याही से- समर्पण की कलम से लिखी इन के सफल जीवन की इबारत, आज पश्चिम बंगाल के अनेकों पिछड़े गांवों में, हज़ारों बहनों को प्रेरणा दे रही है।

कमरे की लाइट ऑन करते ही वो महिला अचानक जोर-जोर से चीखने लगी- “………. बबब…बब ब ब….बंद करो यह रौशनी…..ह ह ह …हटाओ इ…इ इसे यहाँ से….. जाने दो मुझे…. न न नहीं रहना म म..म मुझे यहाँ” पति के देहांत के बाद इस वृध्दा की देखभाल करने वाला कोई न था।

यह कहानी है एक ऐसे गांव की जिसने अपना भाग्य स्वयं लिखा। महाराष्ट्र के धुलिया जिले के साक्री ब्लॉक में मात्र 94 परिवारों के इस वनवासी गांव(tribal village)ने सिद्ध कर दिया कि मनुष्य यदि प्रकृति से मित्रता कर ले तो उसके अभाव सदैव के लिए मिट सकते हैं।

Rains let the life flourish on planet Earth. True...?? No....not always. Sometimes it does the opposite too!! On the fateful morning of 14th, August 2020, the clouds gathered over the sky of Jaipur, the capital city of Indian state of Rajasthan, ganged up not to shower the blessing of nature but to turn the lives of people into a living hell.

In the days full of low spirits and dwindling possibility of well-being, can one really be hopeful for tomorrow? Can life be called life without a home and food? Hundreds of people would struggle with these survival basics at the Yamuna silt, situated right on the outskirts of the national capital Delhi.

Men know but women understand ! Just as the saying goes, many Indian women understood the needs of the pandemic times and wrap it with their care to help the helpless! They worked tirelessly from supplying ration tickets, masks, PPE kits, nutritious food, to running a helpline for corona positive patients. Let us acknowledge and honor their work with this Sewagatha chapter.

Geeta, who was just 1.5 years old and her younger brother Ayush still a baby of 6 months had lost their mother four months back. With already a tough life without the love and protection of their mother, they even lost the security of nourishment after their father, a rickshaw driver lost his job due to COVID.

Everything in the village - houses, villagers and those narrow lanes- were seemingly cleaner and brighter than usual. Air was full of mild fragrance. Each household in the village sprinkled their places with a soothing scent. Whole atmosphere was bubbling with a kind of festivity.

A simple looking Marathi speaker, whose childhood was spent amidst deprivation – and when the opportunity for earning livelihood arose after completing post – graduation – he left family and career to serve the nation as a Pracharak of RashtriyaSwayamsevakSangh.

પ્રકૃતિના પૂજકો, તીર્થયાત્રીઓ અને આધ્યાત્મિક સાધકોને હંમેશા આકર્ષિત કરતી કેરળની ભૂમિમાં 16 ઑક્ટોબર 2021ના દિને ઇન્દ્ર્ના પ્રકોપે એવી વિનાશલીલા રચી કે ગામોના ગામો પાણીમાં ડૂબવાં માંડ્યાં.

જ્યારે અગ્નિ પ્રચંડ સ્વરૂપ ધારણ કરે છે ત્યારે માણસ લાચાર બની જાય છે. પરંતુ ક્યારેક માણસની હિંમત સમક્ષ અગ્નિ પણ શરણે થઈ જાય છે.

It is an established fact that the real Bharat exist in its villages. It is equally true that it is very hard to locate a real model village. Never the less If you visit village Bahuvaar situated in Narsinghpur district of Madhya Pradesh you will find that such ideal village do exists.

यह कहानी है प्रकृति की प्रतिकूलताओं के विरूद्ध मानव के यशस्वी संघर्ष की। सन् 1947 में विभाजन की विभीषिका में अपना सब कुछ खो कर शरणार्थी के रूप में आए पीड़ित बंगाली परिवारों के पुरूषार्थ की, जिन्होंने अपने परिश्रम से बालू के टीलों को लहलहाते खेतों में तब्दील कर दिया।

દૂરવર્તી ચીન સીમા પર આવેલ હિમાચ્છાદિત તવાંગથી 56 કિ,મી. દૂર, 8000 ફીટની દુર્ગમ ઊંચાઇ પર બોમદિલા નામનું એક સ્થાન છે. મહારાષ્ટ્રથી અરુણાચલમાં રાજેશજી સંઘ પ્રચારક બની અહીંના બસસ્ટેંડ પર ઉતર્યા.

આજે આખા ગામમાં સુવાસિત અત્તર છાંટવામાં આવ્યું હતું. ગામની આબોહવામાં એક અલગ જ સ્ફૂર્તિ હતી. દરેક ઘરમાં ખૂબ જ કાળજી પૂર્વક સફાઇ કરવામાં આવી હતી, જાણે કોઇ ઉત્સવ હતો.

આજે ડોંગરીપાડામાં સાત દાયકાની પ્રતીક્ષાનો અંત આવ્યો. ગામના લોકો આનંદથી નાચતા હતા. 73 વર્ષીય શાંતાબાઈ ખંજોડેની ઘરે ઘરે પાણી પહોંચાડતા સોલર પંપને જોતી વખતે તેની આંખોમાંથી આંસુ રોકી શક્યા ન હતા.
