It can be easy to believe that the world is going downhill. We are just waiting for the end. But that is not what Jesus left us with. He left us with a harvest to reap. Jesus promises one thing to his disciples when he sends them out: persecution. But he tells them not to fear it. The cost of mission is real, but the reward is even greater!

In Acts 8 we see God set up an encounter between Philip and a prominent court official from Ethiopia. From it, we explore how God may be setting up encounters for us today for us to share the good news of Jesus Christ.

When we are preaching the Gospel to others, it is easy to try to make them like us. Paul teaches a different method, become like them. Do whatever it takes for the Gospel to go forward, even if that means its inconvenient for you. Listen in as we discuss 1 Cor. 9 as part of our On Mission series!
