In living out our lives, we can follow worldly wisdom thats false or godly wisdom thats true. We must examine every thought and deed by the truth of the Word and no other standard.

Our words can be either a blessing or a curse to those around us. Believers must learn to control their tongues and use their words for good, not evil.

Faith and works aren't mutually exclusive. In fact, James tells us that faith apart from works is dead. Works don't save us, but good works should follow true faith.

We sin when we show partiality to some over others, whether they are rich or poor or different in any other way. Believers should extend mercy rather than harsh judgment to others.

True belief causes Christians to live out their faith according to the Word. We don't just passively hear the Word and receive it, rather action should always follow genuine heart change.

As believers, we will face trials and temptations in this world, and these hardships test our faith and dependence on God. But enduring adversity is ultimately for our joy.

The book of James is filled with practical wisdom for Christians, calling us to live out genuine faith through good works. But who was James?

Every year, we pray about three topics: racial reconciliation, the sanctity of human life and the nations. It's a catalyst to remind us about the importance of robust prayer, giving us a renewed resolve to carry us through the rest of the year.

God designs men and women to be equal in value but different in role. Together, they help each other and the Church. When men and women fulfill their God-given roles, joy and human flourishing abound.

Although woman repeatedly struggles with sin, the cleansing power of the gospel erases all past, present and future failures. Woman and her purposes are redeemed through the person and work of Jesus Christ.

God creates woman with a specific role and purpose, but when sin enters the world, everything becomes fractured. Now, because of the Fall, woman wrestles with particular sins and struggles.

When God creates woman, He gives her a unique identity and purpose in life. God designs a specific role for woman to fulfill and, by living out that role, to increase human flourishing.

In Genesis 2, after God creates man, He declares that it is not good for man to be alone. Something is missing. Out of man, God creates woman to complete the picture of Creation. They are intended to live and flourish together.

In Genesis 2, the narrative describes how God creates man and woman and why He creates them. They are created to be His image bearers and to be in relationship with Him. This is their identity.

God is the Creator of all things. His design for the universe is perfect and timeless. In Genesis 1, God creates everything—the heavens and earth, plants, animals, man and woman—in six days and rests on the seventh day.
