Revd Peter Edwards speaks at his last Healing Conference at Methodist Central Hall Westminster before retiring in July. 'We cannot be healed in compartments. Healing isn’t just about the physical, it’s about what we need to bring before God, to seek His wholeness.'

With the psalmist and all who have known pain and sorrow, we rejoice in the triumph of the God of life and we join in the chorus: "Praise the Lord! Praise God in his sanctuary...Praise him with trumpet sound...Praise him with clanging cymbals...Let everything that has breath praise the Lord!" What do you want to praise God for today?

The same life- giving God, who delivered his people from slavery to freedom, from despair to hope, from death to life; is the same God who raised Jesus the Son to life. Choose to follow him before your death, and by my power follow him at the day of your resurrection and then forever and ever. Alleluia!

Our land needs healing. In so many ways. This week is a momentous week. But beyond even those heady things, if we resolve today, by God’s Holy Spirit to own the name, and take the responsibility, and pray and seek God, and change our ways, then we become part of God’s solution. And who doesn’t want to be that?
