The Apostle Peter So provides his readers with some final expectations and instructions concerning suffering as Christians, namely that they would not be surprised, and that they would rejoice to suffer faithfully for the sake of Christ.

The Apostle Peter continues to call his readers to live in light of Christ's imminent return, judgement, and re-creation of all things, by maintaining a realistic perspective and faithfully following Christ's commands, for His glory.

After explaining God’s hate toward the prideful nation of Edom and their upcoming demise, Obadiah outlines each of the accusations God has against Edom, and how they are guilty on all counts, resulting in the final verdict: judgment.

The apostle PETER continues to call his readers to live faithfully by following Christ's example in all things, remembering that everyone will give an account to Him in the end, and that the end is near and His return is imminent.

After a short introduction, Obadiah launches into his oracle on God's behalf, citing The prideful character of The Edomites and the retributive justice that will occur by the hand of the all-sovereign, all-just, all-powerful God, Yahweh.

The Apostle Paul describes the sufficiency of Christ, both His person and completed work, reminding The Colossians they need nothing else outside of Christ to be full and complete before God.

Obadiah writes to Judah concerning the hateful, prideful nation of Edom, and gives Judah a glimmer of hope that God will be faithful to exercise His just, retributive judgement no merely pon the Edomites, but upon all nations.

The Apostle Paul warns the Colossians and Laodicean churches to beware of false teaching and heresy That is making its way into the church by both outlining the danger of heresy and the design that heresy takes which is ultimately "not according to Christ."

n this Psalm, David testifies of the vindication of his hope and trust and God through the answer of his cries for deliverance and restoration, praises God for all that He Is and does, and calls upon him again for deliverance.

The apostle Peter calls his readers to remember Christ's example of self-sacrifice as the primary motive and model for the whole for holy living, and to separate themselves completely from sin, and yet still maintain a gospel witness to sinners.

The Apostle Peter points believers to the example of Jesus Christ as the premier model of unjust suffering, explaining to them his accomplishments through it, in order to encourage and strengthen their faith to face unjust suffering.

David Laments to God his sinful nature, his inability to cease from sinning and live righteously, the vanities of his life and the sad similarities of every human being and pleads with God for deliverance and relief from his sin.

Peter continues his points of application concerning the Christian calling to each individual believer in the church, addressing how they ought to respond to suffering for the sake of righteousness in God-glorifying ways.

In this psalm, David expresses to God the emotional and physical anguish he feels due to His discipline, and confesses his sins and turmoil, as well as his relational trials with others, and pleads with God for relief and restoration.

Peter finalizes his commands and exhortations of God-honoring submission and Christ-like suffering in the various roles believers may have, by now addressing the attitudes, actions, and behaviors for each individual Christian.

David exhorts the people of God not to dwell upon the wicked, their evil deeds, nor their short-lived prosperity and escape from justice, but to rest in the inevitable justice and righteousness of God, and to trust and obey him.

After addressing the wives, Peter turns his attention towards the husband's, explaining how they are to apply the same principles of submission to God's creative order, In their attitudes and behaviors towards their wives.

In this psalm David expresses the contrasting characteristics of God and man, by lamenting the depravity of the ungodly, exalting the character of God and His relations with man, and voicing the concerns of the godly towards Him.

Peter continues his list of commands in light of the Christian calling, moving from the examples of Christ, as the premier model of unjust suffering and godly submission, To the realms of the family and the church by addressing the roles of wives and husbands beginning with the wife's submission.

Peter continues in the themes of submission and suffering, as he explains to his readers how they are to live in light of their calling as the people of God, By following the example of their Savior, who suffered on their behalf.

David calls upon God for deliverance from, the judgment upon his enemies, by pleading his case for justice based upon their evil desires and wicked plots against him, in contrast to his faithfulness and righteousness.

Peter continues his list of commands for his readers to live in light of their calling as the people of God, by moving from the standard of conduct for godly citizens, to the God-glorifying behaviors Expected of servants.

In this final scene, the writer records the Union of Beau as in Ruth, which produces a sun, an heir, and a hope for Boaz, Ruth, and Naomi, as the story ends With the redemption of individuals, a family, and the future people of God.
