Serialholic Sisters: True Crime Shit

This week we discuss the Monster of the Andes, Pedro Lopez, and how we yet again have found ourselves internally struggling, feeling bad for the child version of this serial killer before he turns into the murderous monster he became. This case is super disturbing in so many ways, including the fact that nobody knows where he is today.

This week Samantha tells us all about the case of Danny Heinrich, the heinous...(henious?)... killer who almost got away. Thank you Joy and Jared for solving this terrible crime and giving this family some kind of peace. 

This week Krystal covers the heavy case of the Thurston High Shooter. Growing up Kip was never your typical kid, instead of showing interest in hobbies like karate or tennis, he was more interested in building bombs and torturing animals. There were so many red flags that led up to this truly devastating event.

This week Samantha changes it up a bit and tells us all about the unsolved murder of Dorothy Jane Scott. This case is creepy and frustrating and will definitely have you paying attention to your surroundings at all times from now on. 

Happy 40th ya'll! This week Krystal covers one of America's Most Wanted. John List was the worst type of killer, one you would never expect. This case will leave you trusting no one!

This week Samantha covers the horrifying case of the Wichita Massacre. We hear about how brothers Reginald and Jonathan Carr decided to go on a crazy crime spree that ended with 5 people dead and 2 others traumatized. All of the trigger warnings for this one y'all, it gets pretty rough.

This week Krystal covers the legendary Axeman of New Orleans. He was never caught and had quite a few weird quirks, like the fact that he's very fond of jazz music, and not so fond of Italian grocers...which seems oddly specific and terribly racist..

This week Krystal covers the French Ripper-the other Ripper of true crime history. We're talking about Joseph Vacher, and he had at least double the body count of that Jack guy over in London. 

This week Samantha covers the murder of Elyse Pahler. Kids! Don't sneak out...Teens! These people aren't your friends. Apparently everyone is trying to sacrifice you to Satan, so be on the lookout. 

Everyone gather around while Krystal covers the horrific case of the Greyhound Bus murder. Timothy McLean was unfortunately at the wrong place at the wrong time, just an innocent bystander who lost his life for no reason at all. This case is truly tragic and all around messed up.

Hey, serialholics! We missed your faces! After a week of bad weather and rolling blackouts, we're back with Samantha's episode! She's covering the wood chipper murderer, and it's just as awful as it sounds! Settle in while she tells us a tale of infidelity and murder.

This week Krystal covers the Ken and Barbie Killers, Paul Bernardo and Karla Homolka. These two are fucked up from a young age and it only gets worse as they get older. 

This week Samantha covers the all over of the place case of Rosemary and Fred West. Ya'll. This escalates so quickly. It makes no sense. I am confusion. Warning- this case is twisted and includes sexual assault. 

This week Krystal covers the Memphis, TN spree killer George 'Buster' Putt. We aren't really sure what in the hillbilly hell is happening here, but we do know it includes an uncle father that no one is keeping an eye on ever!

This week Samantha covers the Broken Arrow Killers of Oklahoma. This case is crazy, unsettling and straight up messed up. This is an example of how seclusion mixed with a dash of crazy can make people do horrific things. 

This week Krystal covers the confusing case of Darlie Routier. None of this makes any sense...and also our heads hurt now. This one has us going back and forth, and honestly we don't know where we stand.

This week Samantha finishes up the conclusion of the Ted Bundy case. He was man of many faces- a longtime boyfriend, a father-figure, a lawyer-doing lawyer shit, and a straight up monster. Burn Bundy Burn. 

This week Samantha begins covering the insanely terrible human that was Ted Bundy. She goes over his early life, crazy family background, all of the thievery and shoplifting and burglarizing that he gets into and his horrific murder spree.

We're wrapping up the second part of this case. This week we discuss the forced confession, the ridiculous trials and convictions, and everything after. It's just so infuriating...

This week Samantha covers the unsolved case of the West Mesa Murders, and she's pretty sure she's solved it. The West Mesa Bone Collector has never been caught and no official suspects have ever been named. This one will really have you questioning...like everything. We have all the questions and none of the answers.

It's Thanksgiving y'all and we are actually recording from the same room right next to each other! We thought this called for something a little different so this week we are each doing a case. Krystal covers Giulia Tofana - a businesswoman with a deadly product and Samantha covers Bernie Tiede - a well-liked pillar of the community who snapped. With the holiday season nearing, Krystal gives you a wholesome story about a jolly, giggling grandmother who is just looking for her one true love in life. That's one way to look at it. The other (correct) way to look at it is a crazy lady murders everyone who doesn't meet her romance standards... and then some.
