This sermon examines the covenant relationship of the Gibeonites to Israel and the ways in which it parallels the Christian's covenantal relationship to Christ and His church. We can call our God to our aid because He has promised to be on our side but He also covenants to do all things for our good and for His glory.

This sermon is based on the covenant renewal ceremony of Joshua 8. The question before is, where do we stand? We are in the valley between cursing and blessing. Choose life. Choose Christ. He is our blessing. He is our righteousness.

This sermon looks into Joshua's second attempt to defeat the city of Ai. The application for us is to see our gracious God forgiving us and fighting for us as OUR king in that even the physical wars of Israel were, at their heart, spiritual battles.
