Read Numbers 31 online in the CSB. We are wrestling with the genocide in this chapter, considering the judgments of God being perfect, and the reality that we live after the cross of Jesus Christ. 

Numbers 32 There's a gem of a verse for parents in the middle of our reading. 

Read Numbers 33 Online in the CSB There's two great examples here for us as Christians. First, it's keeping a record of moves. Second, it's recognizing the agency we have in what we permit and what we restrict. 

Read Numbers 34 online in the CSB. This is why we have maps in the back of our Bibles. It's for passages like this one. It reminds us that God is not ethereal or abstract, but in the center of reality.

Read Deuteronomy 8 online in the CSB Why does the Lord test us? One of the reasons is given here in our reading today, it's to prepare us for prosperity and blessing. 

Read Deuteronomy 9 Online in the CSB We are reminded of the danger of self-righteousness here and it's interesting to see how the Lord helps them to guard against it. 

Read Deuteronomy 10 online in the CSB What does God want from us? Moses tells the Israelites what He wants from them, and we see a direct parallel to us in the New Testament. 

Read Deuteronomy 11 online in the CSB. We need to tell the stories of what God has done for our children and grandchildren. They weren't there, but we want them to maintain and expand the blessings of faith. 

Read Deuteronomy 12 online in the CSB. Was BBQ invented here? It seems like that may be the case as God is very specific about where sacrifices are to be made.

Read Deuteronomy 13 online in the CSB. Let's talk about false prophets for a minute. The Lord here is real clear on what to do with them. It's not the same for us today however. 

Read Deuteronomy 14 online in the CSB. Today, we are talking about making bald spots on your head for the dead. Well, actually, we aren't talking about that, we are talking about youth group...
