Scripture in a Minute with Pastor Andy Falleur

Genesis 6 In this "Scripture in a Minute," Pastor Andy talks a little bit about the Nephilim, the giants produced from this union between the sons of God and the daughters of men.

Genesis 8 Today, Pastor Andy is talking about the entrance of seasons, cold and hot, summer and winter into the climate of the earth in this "Scripture in a Minute." 

Genesis 9 Today, Pastor Andy is talking about covenants. In this "Scripture in a Minute" he briefly explains the covenant with Noah, the one with Moses, and the one that Christians enter into with God through the promise to Abraham. 

Genesis 10 It's tempting to skip over this chapter because it's again a bunch of names and places that we don't recognize and seem difficult to pronounce.  In this "Scripture in a Minute," Pastor Andy explains why this chapter is very, very important. 

We are reading about the Tower of Babel today in Genesis 11.  Pastor Andy in this "Scripture in a Minute" points to the New Testament conclusion of the story. 

Genesis 12.  Pastor Andy in this "Scripture in a Minute" points to the good news for us, anyone reading this, in the opening lines. 

Genesis 13... In this "Scripture in a Minute," Pastor Andy points out how Abram must have been so confident in the blessing, he was able to be magnanimous with his nephew Lot.

today, we are reading Genesis 15.  there's a strange ceremony described in the chapter that is opaque to us here in North America. Pastor Andy describes it and then points out what we can determine from it in this "Scripture in a Minute." 

Genesis 16 today Pastor Andy shares a favorite quote from Pastor Chuck Smith about waiting on the Lord in this "Scripture in a Minute." 

Genesis 17...  Pastor Andy talks about circumcision in this "Scripture in a Minute." 

Genesis 18 is our reading today.  Pastor Andy in this "Scripture in a Minute" highlights the truth about God, his justice, that Abraham bases his negotiations off of. 

We are reading Genesis 19 today and Pastor Andy in this "Scripture in a Minute" says it's okay to be sad and have questions in reading through this. He also points out a lesson to be learned. 

Genesis 20 today, and Pastor Andy says that there's all these jokes that have been made out of this chapter. But, there are some truths also evident.  It's all in today's "Scripture in a Minute." 

It feels extra early today because of daylight savings time. This is that day we hope we aren't that person strolling into church an hour late!  Happy Sunday!  Today is Genesis 21 and Pastor Andy talks about Ishmael and Hagar being sent away in this "Scripture in a Minute."
