This beautiful idyllic little village nestled in the heart of the Cairngorms National Park, is definitely one for the must see list. As always though this village does have it's share of the strange and unusual. All of which seem to centred around the water would you believe?

In this short tale I'll tell you why you should never mess with a mermaids singing spot and why you should be afraid of the sea very, very afraid.

From the outside this castle looks like something straight out of a Disney film and that would be because it is. Said to be the inspiration behind Walt Disney's famous castle at Disneyland Castle and more. All the fairy-tale stuff aside this castle has tales of murder, ghosts and even witches.

A 33 year old Netta moved to the island of Iona seeking magic and to further her knowledge on occult practices. Sadly she would be found dead shortly after, but the circumstances surrounding her death and how her body was found are what makes this case so strange and still has people speculating to this day.
