Scott Survives Survivor

It's a packed episode this week, as we talk about dumping fish, "dying" grandmothers, and missing i's. Scott has strong feelings about Fairplay's move and about who he wanted to go home in 7th place at Tribal Council.

The tone has seemingly been set at Balboa with Andrew's vote off, so we discuss Ryno's thoughts about being next in line and what he does to change his fate. We take a look at everyone else's proposal to oust somebody else, ponder why they don't do anything to enact that plan, and even learn a thing or two about nature along the way.

We learn who the two returnees will be, but that's not the only twist in store in the Pearl Islands today. Scott and Brandon talk merge, reveal all 10 voting confessionals, and celebrate a big milestone for the podcast!

It's an attempted mutiny on Drake when they lose their third Immunity challenge in a row. Can Rupert's social connections keep him safe? We also talk about the what-ifs for Drake if they hadn't thrown the challenge several episodes ago, along with a very special Survivor-themed birthday!

With Rupert starting this episode over at Morgan, things continue to turn for the two tribes. We discuss Shawn's attempt to convince Drake he disliked Burton, Rupert's new human and reptilian friends, and which player Scott is feeling good about after the latest tribal council!

Drake's members are getting tired of each other and each takes a different route to the same plan for the Immunity challenge. We also hear about Scott's unfortunate Thanksgiving and fortunately realize what not to do if we want his Christmas to be better.

The steamrolling continues in this episode, as Drake appears to be unbeatable. It is an epic immunity challenge, though, as the strongest members of each tribe do battle for over two hours. The losing tribe's leader makes a promise before tribal that he fails to keep, which irritates the voted-out castaway.

It's a struggle to see who has power in Jacaré between Alex and Deena, but Rob believes he is the one with the power, given the chain he's created with Matt and Butch. Matt wants to show that he is not really so threatening in challenges, but he proceeds to perform well in each challenge in this cycle. Will his performances force his tribemates to change their plans?

Most of the contestants are getting wary of Matthew's machete sharpening, and it sets up a battle of physical threats at Tribal Council to determine the first jury member. There is also more bathing on the reward, and this bath includes unexplained uncontrollable laughter from two of the final eight players.
