Scots Chapel

Through our weekly chapel service Scots College places value on time to pause, consider the week that has been and reflect on our growth.   This is a time to sit back and relax. Breathe slowly and deliberately, still our bodies and minds as we reflect the words of Jeremiah 18 and how God forms and reforms us, and above all never gives up on us. 

Rebecca shares with the Middle School about how God made us, knows us, and loves us.

We had three reflections at our Founders Service in 2022. In the first Rev Jackson asks the question 'who started the fire? who gave us and out Founders this passion?' then Rob Anderson reflects on Elsie MacKenzie, a teacher at Scots from 1917 to 1945 and her passion, then Nela (Head Prefect) concludes by considering what we do now the fire has been passed to us.

Uttley House reflects on their House symbol, the rose. What does it take for a rose to bloom, what does it take for us to bloom?
