Wayne and Dave examine the quintessential ghost film The Others starring Nicole Kidman, Christopher Eccleston and Finnoula Flanagan. Set in a remote house in Jersey on the Channel Islands, we see the struggle for coexistence between the living and the dead.

Introduced in the 8th episode of the first season, the evil dark fae mesmer Vex has become one of the show's most popular characters. Now, though, we're not sure with which side Vex has aligned himself. Could he perhaps become unaligned? Watch Captain Canuck

Next to time travel scenarios, story arcs related to dreams and dream states cause more consternation and head scratching than just about anything in the genre field. We all know writer/director Christopher Nolan from the recent Batman movies and perhaps his 2002 Momento, but the 2010 blockbuster Inception is at the top of many film critics must see lists.

Wayne and Dave discuss 10 genre actresses that have made a significant contribution in the fields of science fiction, horror, fantasy or the supernatural. Incredibly enough, they didn't argue over who deserves the title of First Lady of Scifi. How the heck did that happen?

For many reasons I bypassed Peter Jackson's District 9, but now that I've seen it, I understand what all the fuss was about. Should the panelists ask the fans if they want to be spoiled? And what is it with the hair.

Wayne and Dave take a look at one of the most intriguing scifi television shows to come along in quite a while. BBC America's Orphan Black starring Tatiana Maslany explores the practical and ethical considerations surrounding human cloning. Who's your favorite clone? Oh right. First rule of clone club; you don't use the C word.

Except for the Centurions, everybody at least looks human in BSG. But Farscape truly explores the outer reaches of space, in this scifi space opera that injects humor far more often than Battlestar, and Crichtonisms and his nicknames often highlight an episode. 

In this the first of our new mini-casts, Dave takes a look at a genre series missed the first time around. Now recognized by many critics as the top scifi television series of all time, Battlestar Galactica set the bar incredibly high.

Wayne, Dave, and special guest Sally take a look at the development of the "doctor to the fae," Lauren Lewis aka Karen Beattie. Doctor, scientist, hero, lover; few characters in the Lost Girl universe engender as much interest as the blonde half of the Doccubus relationship.
