Scenic Roots

The Women’s Fund of Greater Chattanooga is a nonprofit that works to improve the lives of women and girls in our area. Its new executive director is Erika Burnett - who comes here from Nashville. She plans to leverage her experience with advocacy, philanthropy and building partnerships to address the root causes of inequity - and create lasting change for women and girls.

Bill Lee and his wife Wanda opened Gate 11 Distillery last year in the Chattanooga Choo Choo. It’s only the second distillery to open in the city since Prohibition more than a century ago - and Bill says the editors of USA Today recently nominated Gate 11 as one of the top new distilleries in the country.
