Our second movie review of the season is the good because its bad Jeepers Creepers. The girls had a great time recording this and watching the movie but things took a turn when we found out the true nature of the writer/director of the movie, Victor Salva. People like that don't deserve successful careers and in the end we are thankful to have been made aware.

We read, watched, and compared the the two miniseries of Stephen Kings epic The Stand to his unabridged book. It was a lot. We have a whole lot of thoughts on this post-apocalyptic tale and break down a lot of the differences you'll find in the series and share some fun facts.

With Halloween only 12 days away we decided to watch the 1978 classic Halloween. Love it or hate it this movie is iconic and we here at the scary movie club may have discovered why Michael Myers has such a fondness for killing young women listen now and find out.

It's spooky season and to honor our favorite time of the year we took some time to revisit The Overlook hotel. We have read reviewed and compared Stephen Kings iconic novel The Shinning to it's equally iconic film adaptation. Listen and learn how they stack up to one another and what we though were some of the biggest differences.

Preparing for The Haunting of Bly Manor the girls visit the original Bly Manor in Henry James’ quintessential ghost story, The Turn of the Screw. Listen in to see what they liked, hated and hope for in the next chapter of this Netflix series.

To cap off our Hill House series we took some time to read the Shirley Jacksons novel that the inspired it. We didn't stop there either, we also watched the two The Haunting movies. We loved reading and finding the parallels that exist in the book, the show and the movies.
