Main Point: Accept your lot from God, even with the crooks in it. 1. Learn from the hard things. 2. Patiently endure the hard things. 3. Don't try to manipulate your lot.

Main Point: The love of money will ruin you, so accept your lot from God. 1. The love of money affects everyone. 2. The love of money will steal your sleep. 3. The love of money will leave you with nothing. 4. The love of money will rob you of joy. 5. Accept your lot from God.

Main Point: In Christ, the promises and plot of the Old Testament have been fulfilled, so let us trust, follow, and worship Him. 1. Christ fulfills God's covenant promises and the story of Israel. 2. Trust in Jesus as your Savior. 3. Follow Jesus as your King. 4. Worship Jesus as the Son of God.

Main Point: Gathering to worship God is serious business. 1. Regularly Gather 2. Listen Carefully 3. Be Slow to Speak 4. Follow Through

Main Point: It's not good to be alone, so invest in relationships. 1. Isolation intensifies sorrow. 2. Sin intensifies isolation. 3. Isolation intensifies danger. 4. Invest in relationships while you can.

Main Point: At all times, know the difference between God's role and yours. 1. There is a time for everything. 2. God is Sovereign over everything. 3. You cannot see everything God is doing. 4. But you can trust God with everything.

Main Point: Know the limits so you can enjoy God's ordinary gifts. 1. The limits of wisdom 2. The limits of work 3. The enjoyment of life

Main Point: Living for pleasure is vanity. 1. Pleasure is not the problem. 2. Pleasure is not the purpose (of life). 3. Pleasure should not be your priority.

Main Point: Don't try to gain your life in this world. 1. Observe the cycles. - trying to gain your life in this world will get you nowhere. 2. Recognize the futility of human striving. - humanity cannot fix our fallen condition. 3. The way to save your life is to lose it. -

Main Point: Give and Serve to build up the church. 1. The church is built on, in, and under Christ. 2. Give to build up the church. 3. Serve to build up the church. 4. Build until the work is complete.

Main Point: Jesus brings God's just favor for my renewal unto His praise. 1. The ministry of the Messiah (v. 1-3) 2. The renewal of the Saints (v. 4-7) 3. Justice of God (v. 8-9) 4. Our righteous future (v. 10-11)

Main Point: Nothing is more certain than God's love for His people 1. Rejoice with your family in Christ 2. Fear not for God is for you 3. Trust that your future is secure

Main Point: The joy that Jesus brings meets us where we most need it. 1. The joy that Jesus brings meets us in dry places. 2. The joy that Jesus brings is the joy of promised salvation. 3. The joy that Jesus brings meets us as disabled people. 4. The joy that Jesus brings meets us when surrounded by dangerous predators.

Main Point: God provides a hope of peace for those in darkness, in Christ 1. The announcement of Hope (1-3) 2. The qualifications of the King (4-6a) 3. The Prince of Peace (6b-7)

Main Point: Don’t dread your enemies if you hope in Christ. Who do you fear? Who do you hope in? What will become of you?

Main Point: It pleases God to reveal His glory through His dealings with His people. 1. God is present with us (don't lose heart, God has not left us alone) 2. God is merciful toward us (don't lose heart, God has not left us in our guilt) 3. God reveals His glory to us (don't lose heart, beholding Christ by the Spirit transforms us)

Main Point: Do not exchange the glory of God for anything 1. Idolatry leads to compromise 2. Idolatry leads to corruption 3. Idolatry leads to consequences 4. Idolatry leads to condemnation

Main Point: Embrace your dual identity as God’s temple and God’s temple-builders. 1. Recognize that God will build his tabernacle through his chosen ones. 2. See your identity in light of Christ’s dual identity. 3. Minister with confident humility as recipients of the gift of the Spirit. 4. Reject the temptation to go it alone and labor alongside others to build God’s tabernacle. 

Main Point: God sets us apart for acceptable worship by washing us and dwelling within us. 1. Ministers must remain clean while serving God. 2. Acceptable worship requires anointing

Main Point: Appreciating and Appropriating Privileged Access to God 1. Praying constantly and compliantly 2. Supporting financially the worship of God 3. Remembering gratefully the cost of our access

Main Point: Before you can serve God, you must be sanctified. 1. What is consecration? 2. How were the priests consecrated? 3. Why were they consecrated?

Main Point: The High Priest wore holy garments designed with symbolism to foreshadow the ministry of Christ. 

Main Point: Come, God provided the means and the space for us to be near Him together. 1. The Design 2. The Function 3. Entering God's Courts

Main Point: God IS near to His people but not as near as He will be. 1. The Tabernacle. 2. The Veil. 3. Something Greater.

Main Point: Mankind has no light or life apart from God. 1. The Golden Lampstand 2. The Light of the World 3. The Life that we Lost
