For the 1st time in Samuel and Manuel Movie Podcast history we have back to back movies picked by Sam!! This week we have the 2003 comedy, School of Rock starring Jack Black, Joan Cusack and Mike White.

Sam selected this 2018 comedy/drama for the boys to review starring Lakeith Stanfield, Tessa Thompson and Steven Yeun. This is Boots Riley’s directorial debut and it has started to garner a little more attention after being so critically lauded back in 2018, how do the boys think the film holds up now?

Sam and Manny take a peek at Paul Verhoeven’s polarizing 1997 film: Starship Troopers. Not well received by critics in 1997, the last few years people have started to revisit and re-examine this sci-fi film so the boys decide to offer their thoughts on this ultra-violent futuristic movie.
