Lent Sunday 1. February 22, 2026. Hebrews 4:15-16. Jesus is Our Atmosphere: Each day we walk outside, unafraid of the sun. There’s something between us and its deadly radiation. Each day we can dwell in the presence of God, unafraid of his just and holy judgment. Someone stands between us and that wrath.

Lent Wednesday 1. February 18, 2026. John 13:33-35. What Jesus Gave up for Lent: Bride and Family. Jesus gave up a single, earthly bride and a short lifetime with a few children—to gain a huge family, and to be able to spend ETERNITY with that family in heaven.

Epiphany 6, February 15, 2026. God's Wisdom is Wiser than Human Wisdom. So don't change the gospel into what people want to hear. Don't think you can add to what Jesus did to redeem you. Just boast in the LORD, and how Christ covered our sins, set us apart, and bought us back for eternity with God.

Epiphany 5, February 8, 2026. A Famine of God's Word: When a blessing is abused long enough, God may take it away. Without the Word there is no life, but in Christ –there is eternal life.

Here Jacob is humbled by the LORD, and shown that his final victory will not come from his own strength or cleverness, but from the LORD’s grace and mercy.  

The First Sunday after Christmas, December 28, 2025. Set Free: A faithful Christian named Simeon got to SEE the Christ Child with his own eyes. And in that Child he saw the world's salvation--and everlasting peace for his own soul. This event was recorded so we might know the same.

Advent Sunday 4. December 21, 2025. Understand about the loaves: Jesus fed the 5,000. The disciples got that. But they didn't understand how that should impact their lives. We know who the Bethlehem baby is. But is this impacting how we see the world and live in it? Do we "understand about the loaves?"

Advent Wednesday 3. December 17, 2025. What's in a Name? Immanuel. “God with us.” In a time of great fear, God revealed this name. A virgin would conceive and give birth. A human Child, but a miracle Child—and God himself come to dwell with his people. And in his light, all fear shall cease.    

Advent Sunday 3. December 14, 2025. Is it too early for a gift? God comforts sinners: Your debt is double paid! So none miss out, God commissions a construction project to lift the despairing, and level the prideful. Reminding us all of our mortality, he calls us to shelter in Christ, forever.

Advent Wednesday 2. December 10, 2025. What's in a Name? Christ. A title actually. It means “Anointed One.” There aremany chosen by God for one job or another. But Scripture also speak of THE Anointed One. And the good news is, you’re not qualified to do his job.

Trinity 21, November 9, 2025. Luke 10:17-22 (EHV). Rejoice! Your Name is Written in Heaven. Don't rejoice in power, even when that power comes from God. Rejoice in the Lord. Don't rejoice in wisdom, for human learning cannot reveal who the Father is--only the Son can.

Trinity 20, November 2, 2025. The Righteous One Shall LIve by His Faith. In the little book of Habakkuk (only three chapters long) we find a simple verse that sums up God's promise of salvation.

Trinity 19, October 26, 2025 (Reformation Observed). The Persecuted Church: Those who treasure the Gospel of Christ must expect persecution, pressure, and discomfort in this world. But this tribulation can only last for a time. Christ’s gift of heavenly glory will endure for eternity.
