A young man came to Jesus asking how to obtain eternal life. The young man had lived a good life for which Jesus did not condemn him. Yet Jesus saw into the young man's heart, desired his talents for God's kingdom and wanted to save him from spiritual failure. Jesus challenged the young man to follow Him.

There is great power in the name of Jesus. His name has a significant history and is a name of deliverance. Jesus' name has unending authority and power.

There will come a day of judgement when God will judge us according to our work.

If we are to pass the faith to the next generation, we will have to let them be free to do what God has planned for their life. How do we train them and sharpen their gifts for their calling, and also avoid placing our dreams on them?

All that we have has been given to us from God. When He returns He will give us a reward as stewards.

Jephthah made a rash vow and kept it. How careful are we in what we vow?

There are things God has revealed to us including the value of family, our responsibility to be a light in this world, and the faithfulness of God.
