Richard examines how hell imagined as a literal place has caused confusion and psychological torment throughout the ages. He discusses why the Episcopal Church, as well as the church’s ancient creeds, focus upon divine mercy rather than punishment in the afterlife. 

Tina Clark leads a class on the mystery of heaven, which is something that Jesus describes as being “already among you” (Luke 17:21) and yet as something beyond death (John 12:24-25). She explores heaven as something we should imagine and yet as something that is unfathomable.
