The PSL champions closed the gap to seven points but Chiefs might stretch the lead again tonight if they beat Stellenbosch in Cape Town. Mosimane attacked Amakhosi after his team beat Golden Arrows in a Telkom Knockout Cup last Saturday.

The win helped the PSL champions to cut the lead on top of the log to seven points behind log leaders Kaizer Chiefs. Sundowns also won their first league match in four games thanks to striker Ali Meza’s goal on the stroke of half time. Their coach Pitso Mosimane says it was good to finally win.
