The Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) says it won't be drawn into political infighting between the Democratic Alliance (DA) and the United Democratic Movement (UDM) regarding the ousted deputy mayor of the Nelson Mandela Bay Metro in the Eastern Cape, UDM councillor Mongameli Bobani. The DA has accused Bobani of corruption and the UDM is taking the DA to court.

The United Democratic Movement (UDM) says it will take the Democratic Alliance (DA) to court following the party's decision not to re-instate Mongameli Bobani as Deputy Mayor of the Nelson Mandela Bay Metro.
