Jesus tells us to keep praying, have the right attitude when we pray, and trust God like a child.

Abram saves Lot and has an important encounter with a strange priest. He also receives assurances that the LORD will take care of him.

James warns us to avoid the sin of presumption. He connects it to arrogance. Jesus also connected it to greed. In this message we try to learn how to be dependent on the LORD in our future plans.

The seven promises to Abram are significant. All the families of the earth are blessed because of Abram. In this study we learn of Abram's journey from his homeland into the land of Canaan. There, the LORD revealed to Abram many wonderful assurances.

As Christians we face a different warfare than we see in the world. Learning how to fight this war is our duty as believers.

Psalm 143 was a prayer of David's. He was in trouble, and he wanted God's help. Following his example. Believers should be confident that the LORD cares about them. Though we may be discouraged, a faithful prayer is a certain means to overcome.

God gave the Law to show us our sinful condition. It is a warning label. Fortunately, God has shown grace through Jesus Christ.

The Flood

This is a recording of a joint Sunday School service and Worship service at Hickory Valley Baptist Church.

Thanksgiving is a good time to remember Solomon's Dedication of the Temple in Jerusalem. The same God to Whom Solomon prayed is still available to us as well.

The LORD created the land animals and humans on the 6th day. In this study we examine some of the special evidences God has placed in His Creation that point to Him.

Psalm 138 is a psalm of David. David knew trouble. However, he had great faith in The LORD. Today, we need this message. Our nation is facing ruin. We need God to intervene through Jesus Christ.
