God has given us a practical connection between our worship and our everyday lives. Paul explains this in Colossians 3:16-17.

We learn three ways to handle temptation in this sermon. Through prevention, preparation and God's power we can properly win the struggle we face.

David cried out for the LORD to save His people in Psalm 28. This passage speaks about the inheritance with which the LORD blesses His people. In this message, we see how Psalm 28 and Romans 8 are related. We also see the encouraging future God has for those who trust Him.

David thanks God for returning him to his kingdom. It had been a stormy and deadly ordeal. Yet the Lord took care of David through these difficult times. This message is for those who, like David, face severe trials.

As David prepares for death, he leaves behind some good advice for his son, Solomon. This advice serves us well today as we celebrate Father's Day.

Absalom attempted to overthrow his father, David. We see the results of this effort in this message.

Absalom's return leads to a rebellion against David. David, his family, and his supporters are forced to flee Jerusalem. This was a challenging time for David, but through it all he kept a level head and a humble attirude.

After being exiled by his father, David, Absalom returns to Jerusalem. Ultimately, this will spell trouble for David.

The central event of the Christian faith is the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus. This message shows why the resurrection is not only important in the past, but it has relevance to the present and future as well.

After winning battles against the Philistines, David tries to bring the Ark of the Covenant to Jerusalem. His attempt fails at first, but later he succeeds in celebrating the Ark's Presence in Jerusalem.

This chapter contains the story of David finally becoming King over all Israel. He sets up his capitol in Jerusalem and befriends a powerful king named Hiram. The LORD makes David great. However, David's many wives and children foreshadow some very dramatic future events.
