Roy discovered his passion for music at a young age, inspired by bands such as AC/DC, Guns N’ Roses, Rage Against The Machine, and Korn. In his early twenties, his musical taste expanded towards the sounds of the ’60s. The real turning point came on May 10th, 2003, when Tiësto performed in his hometown of Arnhem. Inspired by that night, Roy bought his first set of turntables and started DJing himself.
