Routes Through Pokemon

After completing the first gym of Gold, Silver, and Crystal it is time to go on a journey to get to Violet City in the Manga and Anime and see where things match up. Apparently there are a LOT of woods in the Anime version of Johto. In the Manga we get to meet the main character who is, of course, Gold while Silver seems to be a bad guy.
