A brand new third level course in Bar Management has started and Vintners are looking for Roscommon people to do the course. Seamus Duke has been chatting to Pat Crotty of the VFI about the course and what's involved.

A new coffee shop has been opened in the Kilbride Community Centre shop. The shop was officially opened on Friday 13th May and Bernie Kearney outlined how much progress the centre has made since it was opened  over 20 years ago.

The Roscommon County Development Plan 2022 to 2028 has been praised by the Planning Regulator Niall Cussen who says it is an example to other local authorities on how to produce a realistic and ambitious plan for their county. He spoke to Seamus Duke on the Good Morning Roscommon programme.

The Taoiseach Micheal Martin was in Strokestown Park House last weekend for the National Famine Commemoration and the newly refurbished famine museum was also revealed on the day.
