The negotiations about the Northern Ireland protocol and one year of the war in Ukraine are the two main stories that Seamus Duke and Emmett Corcoran spoke about in this weeks' Corky and Dukie interview.

This Friday is World Hearing Day and a documentary about the lives of four people who have experienced hearing loss will be on Virgin TV this weekend. Brendan Lennon is the head of advocacy with the charity Chime and he has been talking to Seamus Duke about the documentary and the work they do.

Improved services in terms of health care, education and in may other areas are needed now in towns like Ballaghaderren where there has been a large influx of immigrants over the past number of years. Local SF TD Claire Kerrane raised the matter in the Dail last week.

The week of the 6th March to the 10th March is Local Enterprise Week and there are plenty of events being held around the country and in Roscommon too. Seamus Duke has been talking to Jeremy Cullen of the Roscommon LEO office about what's going on here.
