The scandal at RTE and the Hate Speech Legislation are two issues that Emmett Corcoran addressed when he spoke to Seamus Duke on this weeks' Good Morning Roscommon programme.

 Local councillors Tony Waldron has been elected as the new Chairman of the Roscommon Municipal District for the coming year.. He has been telling Seamus Duke about what his priorities will be while in office.

 RTE are involved in a  major payments scandal involving payments made to Ryan Tubridy and a major staff protest was held this week. Ciaran Mulooly worked in the RTE newsroom for over 25 years and he came into studio to chat to Seamus Duke about the controversy.

This week Gerry Shannon continues his look at the History of Roscommon town.

 There is disquiet in some circles about the current Hate Speech legislation going through the Oireachtas at the moment. Local Senator Ronan Mullen has outlined his concerns in the Seanad about the bill and he came into studio to talk to Seamus Duke.
