This message was recorded after the service today so that you would be able to hear it as well. Timothy told Paul and Silas how well the Thessalonians were doing... but what would he say about us?

Tonight we looked at 7 verses that deal with marriage and asked ourselves if our marriages look more like this passage or like the world...

Paul shows us how to properly share the gospel in this passage. As you listen to these verses, ask yourself if you are sharing the gospel the same way as they did in this passage.

If Paul was writing to you and me, would he say the same things that he said about the Thessalonians concerning their faith and obedience? What does the Bible say about the end times? Today's message shows us how Paul described those believers and tells what to expect in the future.

Tonight we read the first section of chapter 2 and saw Peter telling the elect exiles to " put away all malice and all deceit and hypocrisy and envy and all slander " and " long for the pure spiritual milk ". 

Today, we see Jesus restoring Simon Peter and reminding him of the mission that Jesus called him to do. When you listen to this message, I hope that you will have some of these moments in your heart... that moment when it all started, those moments that Jesus did incredible things to reinforce your faith, those moments when He reminds you of what you are supposed to be doing and so much more.

What did Jesus pray about in this chapter? What did He not pray about in this chapter? How does this prayer apply to us? These questions and more in today's message.

Two key words in this passage are "ask" and "joy". Listen and hear the connection between the two. Be reminded once again how faithful Jesus is.

Jesus said "it is to your advantage that I go away". We know that if Jesus had not been crucified, buried and raised from the dead then we would still be in our sins. However, on top of that, Jesus gave us a look at the various tasks that the Holy Spirit does and shows us why He called the Holy Spirit "another Helper".

Usually we talk about those who love Jesus but who hates Jesus? The answer may include more people than you realize...

So much to unpack in this great passage. We hope that this message encourages you and strengthens you.

It is easy to wonder why the disciples had a hard time understanding Jesus and what He said but how much do we struggle with the same problems?

Do you have complete confidence in God or is your heart often troubled? Do you see the connection between "Jesus", "The Word" and "Truth"?  And if you are a child of God, are you consistently showing gratitude to God for saving you?

John wrote about the resurrection from the perspective of Mary Magdalene and showed his competitive nature with Simon Peter... 

The Jews knew which buttons to push in order to make Pilate give in to them.  Tonight, we looked at their devious plan against Jesus.

Looking at the gospels as they share the details of the arrest of Jesus.

After Judas Iscariot was excused from the table in order to set the stage for Jesus' arrest, we see that Jesus told them that they would all fall away from him. Simon Peter, of course, disagreed with that statement. See what happens in this powerful selection of passages.

Why did Jesus say that He was giving them "a new commandment"?

Have you ever considered how much Jesus did to protect Judas Iscariot so that Judas could do what he needed to in order to betray Jesus?

Today's message shows us how Judas and Peter both messed up in this passage of scripture. As you listen to this sermon, ask yourself if you do the same thing.

What did Paul mean when he said that he handed Hymenaeus and Alexander “over to Satan that they may learn not to blaspheme”? What did Paul mean when he said that some folks had “made shipwreck of their faith”? What did Paul mean when he said that God “desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth”?

There is a very important word in this passage that is only used in one other place. When we find words like that, we should recognize how special that word is and pay close attention to what it means.  Also in this passage, God did something that is only recorded in two other places in the Bible.
