Professor and leader at Ozark Christian College, Randy Gariss, leads three sessions on biblical manhood at our Fall 2022 Men's Retreat. In this third session, Randy Gariss discusses how the Gospel of Jesus Christ relationally, emotionally, and spiritually changes us at a deeper level where our character begins to truly change. He talks about how our story must be the story of the Gospel.

Shandi Harris dives into the first of the warning passages in Hebrews 2:1-9, discussing the warning dashboard lights in our spiritual lives and how we can be watchful over our hearts as we pursue Jesus Christ in this life. 

Nathanael Coffman opens up our full year sermon series on the book of Hebrews, going over 1:1-4 on the Supremacy of Christ as the superior Revelation. Join us as we continue to study the book of Hebrews this year!

     Nicholas Lewis takes a deeper dive into the model of prayer Jesus' lays out for his disciples in Matthew 6:5-15. He talks about the purpose and meaning of prayer; how prayer helps us see God more clearly, aligns our wills with his, and teaches us to express ultimate dependence on God in all areas of our lives. 

     Local pastor from Ridgeview Christian Church, Adam Bloch, visits us at Catalyst to preach on the 'acts of righteousness' that is expected for all followers of Christ to partake in, including  how we should pursue these disciplines such as prayer, fasting, and giving. Tune in as Adam leads us through Matthew 6:1-18. 

Nicholas Lewis finishes off Jesus' mini-series on correcting false interpretations of the Law in his Sermon by talking about the command to love our enemies, showcasing the important reasons Jesus gives as to why we must do this as citizens of the kingdom of heaven. The passage is Matthew 5:43-48!

     Shandi Harris continues our series on the Sermon on the Mount by teaching Matthew 5:33-42 on what it looks like to have integrity under pressure, specifically when we make promises and face the temptation to retaliate when things go awry. 

Nicholas Lewis continues the study on the Sermon on the Mount by tackling Matthew 5:21-26 where Jesus discusses the commandment not to murder, taking it one step further and exclaiming that anyone who hates another is liable to judgement. Listen to as we discover the heart transformation that Jesus is aiming for when it comes to obeying God’s Law. 

     Shandi Harris continues our study of the Sermon on the Mount by tackling 5:13-20 and discussing the difference between a poser and a genuine follower of God's Law. 

     Nathanael Coffman opens up our Spring Semester Sermon Series, Sermon on the Mount , by providing helpful interpretation keys to understanding one of the most well known passages in the Bible. Faron Thebeau, the local pastor of Mosaic Rolla, joins us for Catalyst this week to finish out the remaining instructions Paul leaves to the believers in the first letter to the Thessalonians.

Our former intern, Kyla Peterson, returns to open up the beginning verses of the second letter to the Thessalonians, discussing the coming judgement and Christ's return. 

     Shandi Harris continues our study through the letters of Thessalonians by taking us into chapter 5:1-11. Follow us along as we learn from the letters of Paul! 

     Nathanael Coffman takes us into 1 Thessalonians 4 to talk about the difficult sayings of Paul concerning the end times and physical resurrection; and how we might learn to approach a theology of the end times biblically and truthfully. 

     One of the lead teaching pastors from Greentree Christian Church, Chris Foster, brings the word on 1 Thessalonians chapter 4 to discuss knowing God's will and the importance of overcoming sexual sin and battling gossip within the church community. 

     Shandi Harris continues our study of 1 Thessalonians by diving in chapter 2 and discussing the importance of loving well and reaching out to others, much like Paul does in his concern and watchfulness over the members of the Thessalonica Church. 

This Fall semester, we dive into the letters of 1 and 2 Thessalonians for our Catalyst Sermon Series.
