Rock School - 12/05/21 (Follow Up Albums) 28.10.2021

"Once a musician has a massive hit album, they are expected to follow it up. But the rules change. What would easily be considered a hit for other artists is seen as a failure for the artist with the big album. If you sell 20 million albums but the follow up only sells two million, is that a failure?"

Rock School - 09/12/21 (Poorly Attended Concerts) 05.08.2021

"All too often, when a concert is poorly attended, it is made fun of. However, used correctly, it can be a learning experience to work on your performance. To connect better with the audience and to ponder why the show was not well attended. It is also a test of a bands mettle. Do you punish the audience or do you put on a great show for those that did indeed attend?"

Rock School - 10/03/21 (The Black Box) 05.08.2021

"It seems that music companies are going out of their way to not pay their performers. The Black Box is a nickname given to a fund of royalties that cannot be determined who it should be paid to. It is created by overseas royalties and other untraceable payments. However, now companies and technologies are being created to fight the Black Box and make sure artists get paid."

Moreover, what other musicians are under a conservatorship of his or her own."

"This week, we are not talking about songs that were featured in movies, rather, songs that were written because a movie the artist saw, prompted it, either title, lyrics or feel. There are a lot, far more than what we will list here. Action!"
