It's officially Christmas Time. Hope y'all had a great Thanksgiving. This week on "Road To Hope" we welcome Ron, James and Mikey. We ask them what it was like being deployed during Thanksgiving. What does Camp Hope mean to them. And one of our guests got a call from the President of the United States one Thanksgiving. We talk to him about that phone call.

We are joined by Ryan and Joel this week. Ryan is Camp Hope’s newest employee. We hear about Ryan’s journey on his road to hope. Sadly this week, the Pentagon has ID’d 2 service members from Ft. Hood we lost in Afghanistan. Folks, have a good Thanksgiving. Please remember the blanket of freedom we are provided. The cost is paid every day for that freedom.

We are joined this week by Ed and Zack. Ed is from the Southern California branch of Camp Hope. He is a Chaplin in the Army and we get to hear his story on his road to hope.

Zach, Alex, Brad, Nick join us and share with us their story on their Road to Hope. We also discuss a story that says suicide has been more deadly than combat for our vets.

Zack and Mitch join us this week. Mitch tells us about his journey on the road to hope. Also, the president awarded the nation's highest military honor to active-duty Green Beret Master Sgt. Matthew Williams for his heroic actions in Afghanistan. We play that audio and share Master Sgt. Williams' story.

We have a very special episode this week. A Marine and his family all discuss how PTSD affects everyone in a family. Vets who are married have a higher rate of suicide. This, according to a news story. That will be our focus of this week's show.

We revere Master Sgt Mark Allen who died 10 years after being shot looking for Bowe Bergdahl. We are joined by Mikey and Joel. We talk to Mikey about his journey on the road to hope. Finally, we discuss what it's like to suffer from PTSD and attend an Astros' game. Something most of us don't have to deal with.

This week we welcome back Zack. We also welcome Jeff to the show. We listen to Jeff's road to recovery and discuss "The Warrior Group". What goes on during these meetings? How does it help our veterans?

We pay our respects to Spc. Michael Nance, of Chicago, and Pfc. Brandon Kreischer of Stryker, Ohio. They were members of Company B., 1st Battalion, 505th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division killed by small arms fire in Afghanistan. Joel and Jeffrey from Camp Hope join us as well to talk about their journey on their road to hope.
