In the latest edition of Riding The Pine I am joined by a very special guest, current NBA power forward and center for the Portland Trailblazers, Zach Collins. Zach and I discuss his time at Gonzaga, what his transition into the NBA was like, and how he feels on the new NBA season and playoff format.

We dive deeper into the conversation as we talk about what it takes to being a pro and the advice Ashton would share with Green and other top prospects wanting to turn pro.

Episode 2 involves talk about some of the top college basketball transfers and what kind of impact they'll have on their new teams. Flashback Friday is the segment for the day which features a look back at Cal Ripken Jr.'s historic season in the summer of 1995.  

Episode 1 includes NFL draft talk with highlighting a few of the top picks and who they could potentially select. Later on the subject of one and done basketball players comes up and the discussion of which players that have been successful through this process and which ones that haven't been as successful.
