Continuing our Jesus on Every Page series, Pastor Andy walks through Genesis 15 and Romans 4 to show how God’s relationship with us has always been based on His promises, not our performance. Through the story of the shepherds, we’re reminded that Jesus came humbly for ordinary people. God reveals Himself as the Good Shepherd who draws near, cares for us, and brings life to all who follow Him.

Pastor Brent reminds us this Labor Day that all work is sacred, not just what happens inside the church walls. Through Scripture, he shows how our jobs can honor God when we work diligently, rest faithfully, and bring Christ’s light into the workplace.

Finding Jesus isn’t just a one-time decision—it’s an ongoing journey of discovering Him as our greatest treasure and Savior. This week, Pastor Andy unpacks Jesus’ parables and reminds us that while we seek Him, we also find that He has been seeking us all along.

Pastor Andy continues our mission series by teaching that finding Jesus as Savior is only the beginning—the real challenge is following Him as Lord. Discipleship means daily surrender, sacrifice, and staying close to Jesus as the one who leads us into true life.

In his farewell to the Ephesian elders, Paul urges believers to “pay careful attention” first to their own spiritual health and then to the well-being of those God has placed in their care. Guarding our souls and shepherding others isn’t optional—it’s essential for the sake of Christ and His Church, bought with His own blood.

In Ephesus, Paul’s growing influence sparked a riot he didn’t ask for—but one that revealed just how disruptive the gospel can be. This week, we’re reminded that following Jesus will bring opposition, but with spiritual grit and God’s help, we don’t give up.
