Brad Bickett grew up on a family farm in western Bureau County, playing basketball in the barn. He would lead his tiny Ohio High School basketball team to the IHSA state title game in 1986. On April 1, voters in the community will determine the school’s future. If they decide to close it, students will go to either Amboy or Bureau Valley High Schools.
