New eight-week programme aimed at giving women tools to exercise their mental health and wellbeing.

A shearing programme saw 300 students clip their tickets to graduate last year, with numbers nearing 400 this year.  WOMO Life, which stands for Work wise, Move wise, was set up to help trainees to succeed in the first years of employment. WOMO Manager, Luke Mullins, spoke to Rural Exchange ’s Hamish McKay and Dominic George about the initiative.

A leading Kiwi electric vehicle start-up founded and based in Tauranga has been named emerging company of the year at the NZ High Tech Awards.  UBCO provides an electric solution for agriculture and adventure transportation  and they’ve been taking the global power sports industry by storm.  CEO Katherine Sandford spoke to  Rural Exchange ’s  Hamish McKay and Dominic George about the company.

Well this week’s Character of the Country has seemingly done it all - Malcolm Bailey is a former Federated Farmers President, NZ’s Special Agricultural Trade Envoy and a Fonterra Board member, and for the last 15 years he’s been the Chair of Dairy Companies Association of NZ…  He’s about to step down from that role, and joined us on Sundays edition of REX.
