If all we have focused on in the past is the building of our reputation, don't you think we should meditate on the words of Jesus in Matthew 23:25-28 and re-consider? If we spend time building our character, then we need not worry for God is sure to take care of our reputation and that way, we can go on to have a reputable godly character....

1 Samuel 16:11-13...Only God and the prophet (partially) could understand what was going on(i mean David being anointed as king). God was looking for a man with reputable godly character and He found David before anyone had a clue 1 Samuel 13:14....God is on the watch..Be faithful!

The dictionary defines character as the trait that marks a person and reputation as what you're known for and from where we read yesterday (revelation 3:1&2), we could see that being known for something is totally different from being that thing.
