Today a reminder that even though the hills are majestic, our hope is not in them, but in the Lord. Whatever mountain you are lifting your eyes to - remember that the Creator is bigger than them all.

The Acts of the Apostles might better be called "The Acts of the Holy Spirit" or "The Gospel of the Holy Spirit". It is the Spirit doing the work in Acts, filling the believers like a hand in a glove.

Being filled with the Holy Spirit isn't a once off. Paul tells us to be full of the Spirit always!

How can we be filled with the Spirit? By yielding to God completely.

There is no Christian life without the power of the Spirit! We are commanded to be filled - but it's not an oppressive command. It's a gracious gift of life-giving spiritual oxygen.
