The way of Jesus is encouragement. Are you and I being encouragers, or are we breaking each other down?

Peter and John astonished the people with their courage as witnesses for Jesus. How short I fall of their standard! Let's take courage today and tell the world the good news without fear.

Guilt and shame are great courage-sappers. Come to God today and be encouraged, because he doesn't treat us as our sins deserve.

Knowing that someone is praying for you can make a big difference... imagine if Jesus told you he was praying for you! Be encouraged today, because your Saviour is interceding for us.

Above all, we are thankful for the great saving love of God - for what Jesus did on the cross and for the empty tomb! Even if we have nothing else to be grateful for, we have this good news.

Paul models a life of great thankfulness for people. Remember, thankfulness is only half done if you haven't expressed it to the person you are thankful for!

God has blessed most of us in more ways than we really need. Are we grateful for all these things? Or, if we woke up tomorrow with only the things we were thankful for today, would we lose it all?

We take between 17000 and 23000 breaths a day. That's a whole lot of reasons to be thankful!
