Hezekiah made sure that the temple was cleansed of all the things that defiled it. Paul teaches that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit. We cleanse ourselves of the things that defile us - not because that's what the rules say, but because we want to be rid of things that weigh us down in our walk with God.

Christianity is not about avoiding a list of "don'ts". It's about doing what's good and true and faithful. King Hezekiah was a man who seemed to understand this!

There was one blemish on Jehoshaphat's life - he made alliances with the wrong people. Be reminded today that the people you align yourself with can bring you closer to God or pull you away from God. Choose wisely!

Unlike his father Asa, who didn’t consult God at a crucial moment in his life, Jehoshaphat always seemed to seek God, through God's Word, through God's people, and through fasting and prayer. Do you need God's guidance in your life at the moment? Use these three methods, like Jehoshaphat did, and see how God reveals himself to you.

Jehoshaphat didn't live out his faith with a joyless sense of duty… His HEART was devoted to God. Let us follow God wholeheartedly today.

Charles Spurgeon tells of real bookworms that would eat their way through the books on his shelf. Are we bookworms, devouring God's true word, so that we hear the voice of truth and not the voice of the enemy?

Jesus said that God's Word is the truth that sanctifies us (John 17:17). In a world of relativism, how good to know that we can rely on the true Word of God to guide us.

Pontius Pilate asked "what is truth?" when the personification of truth was right in front of his eyes! Are you close to the truth but still denying it? Jesus IS the essence of truth. Believe in His words and actions today.

The world teaches that truth is relative - what you believe is true for you. But John - and the whole Bible - is based on the objective truth: that God is real and Jesus is King.

Like   John, Paul knew that God is life. He could say that to live meant to focus on Christ, and to die   one day would be gaining a new life in Christ's presence. Will you find life   to the full by living this way?

The great promise of Jesus is that the dash between our days is not all we have! But if we believe in Him, we will have eternal life. So live with all your might while you do live, and look forward to another life on the other side.

Jesus   promised those who are born again life to the full. Have you surrendered to   Him? When you do, the dash between your days takes on a whole new meaning and purpose.

Your birthday is a sacred day! Your birth was a true miracle, a day worthy of celebration. And it's all because God knit you together in the womb. Truly, life itself is a wonderful work of God - thank Him, that you are alive today.

Freddie Mercury's song "There Must Be More to Life Than This" reminds us that even with all the fame and fortune in the world, without Jesus, something is missing in our lives. David's song in Psalm 63, on the other hand, shows us that God's love is better than life.

When you truly get that GOD IS LOVE, you are always inspired to love others with the same love He has given you. How can you show someone that God is love today?

When you think of the phrase GOD IS LOVE… remember, sometimes this love includes discipline. Sometimes God’s touch and his words can sting a little. But he will do whatever it takes to transform you into the person he made you to be, even some tough love.

Whenever you hear the phrase GOD IS LOVE… please remember, that it is not a cheap, easy love that he offers. It is a costly love… A love that sent God himself to a cross in our place.
