In 1 Corinthians 14:6-19, the Apostle Paul elaborates on the idea that followers of Jesus are invited to live with a builder mentality, not a consumer mentality, for the kingdom of God.

This week we'll hear from John-Michael Nida as we looking at 1 Corinthians 14:1-5 and the gift of prophecy.

This week we hear from Jason Hall, one of RCC's lay elders, as he teaches out of 2 Corinthians 1:3-11 on the beautiful reality that God is a God of comfort. What's more, as His followers He has called us to be his vessels of comfort to others.

Paul teaches us in 1 Corinthians 13:8-13 that love is the eternal constant of the Christian life.

In 1 Corinthians 13:1-7, Paul shows us that as followers of Jesus, we need to be equally focused on the gifts of the Spirit and the fruit of the Spirit.

This week we're in 1 Corinthians 12:27-31. Here we'll see that, as followers of Jesus, we should consistently see manifestations of the Spirit in our lives. This reality hinges on the truth that God's Spirit chooses to make Himself visible through our lives for the good of others.

In this week's installment in our teaching series, Things of The spirit, we explore the reality that the more we understand our relationship with Jesus, the more meaningful our relationships in community will be. Join us as we see what 1 Corinthians 12:12-26 says about this incredible invitation to be the body of Christ.

We're back in 1 Corinthians taking a look at the gifts and manifestations of the Spirit of God as part of a broader conversation around foundational unity and experiential variety within the body of Christ.

In this final message in our Convergence series, we'll see that a life architected around the presence of God, intentional formation into the likeness of Christ, and a willingness to participate in His mission all culminate in Spirit-empowered boldness to witness for the gospel.

Resurrection vision motivates us to live resurrection life so that we experience resurrection power. What does that mean for us as followers of Jesus today? Acts 4:1-22 has some insight for us!

We're taking a 1-week break from our teaching series in Acts to prepare well for the upcoming summer, which we hope to use to train for godliness, following in the vein of 1 Timothy 4:14-16.

Continuing our teaching series in Acts looking at Presence, Formation, and Mission in the Early Church, we see that formation is about cooperating with God’s work in our lives.

Acts 3:1-10 give us a template for participating in God’s mission. It starts with looking and connecting with the people and needs around you. But God's mission does not require you to give what you don't have, and God's work always requires God's power.

Convergence: Presence, Formation, & Mission in the Early Church As followers of Jesus our lives should be marked by an unusual devotion to everyday practices of discipleship. We see in Acts 2:42-47 that some of these practices are learning together, praying together, and eating together.
