The fourth sermon in our God with us series. Pastor Joie preaches from Luke 1:46-55 about lifting our voices in song and praising Jesus.

We are all impacted by brokenness in the world. It can leave us without hope. Where do we turn to for hope? Pastor Joie preaches from Revelation 21:1-5a about God being with us in the brokenness of the world.

We all have brokenness, due to our own sin and the sin of others.  God has not abandoned us to our brokenness, instead, Jesus, God the Son, came to earth so that we could be made whole again.  In our first sermon in our Christmas series God With Us, Pastor Joie preaches from Matthew 1:23 on God being with us in our brokenness.

Who we choose to spend time with influences who we are and the choices we make.  Therefore, it is extremely important who we choose to have as friends.  As we continue our sermon series on friendship, Pastor Joie preaches from Proverbs 13:20 and the importance of making the right friends.

In our first sermon in this sermon series on friendship we examine what it means to be a friend. People go through good times and bad times and need someone who will be with them during both. In Christ we are new creations and our old selves die.  Through baptism we see this clearly, the old person is dead and buried, the new person is raised.  In this sermon from Romans 6:4, Pastor Joie exhorts us to not return to the old ways, but instead seek after the new things that God has for us.

When surrounded by enemies the natural reaction would be fear.  Even then though we do not have to be overcome with fear.  Pastor Joie ends our mini sermon series, preaching from Psalm 23:5-6, on why we do not need to fear, even when are enemies are near.

Psalm 23:4 is one of the best known verses of the Bible.  It brings great comfort to those who are faced with hard circumstances in life.  Pastor Dave preaches from this verse today and encourages us to not fear whatever circumstance we are in because God is with us.

Anxiety and fear can plague us. They can keep us from living the fulfilling lives that God has called us to live. How can have freedom from anxiety and not be controlled by our fears? Pastor Joie helps us answer these questions as he preaches from Psalm 23:1-3.
