Reset Your Life Now!

Can't follow your dreams without sacrifice.  What are you willing to give of value?  

When everything seems to not be going your way, remember everything is going according to plan.  

We are more than the labels we have been. 

This is a hard concept for me to live by but today I reset my life now to love always.  

Sometimes we want to ignore conflict.  We don't want to deal with what is confronting us.  But there is beauty that comes from the confrontation, you discover greatness within yourself that overcomes all the obstacles you face.  

There is nothing inherently wrong with entitlement but it can be dangerous when you puff yourself up because of your performance to think you are entitled to more benefits than others.  

What if you were told that everything you desire is on the other side of the door, what would you do?  

When you start a journey no one wants to face a detour.  You want to get to your destination without any obstacles.  The truth is when you start you probably don't know the way.  Through persistence and perseverance, you discover the way.  

Sometimes our pride can get in the way of progress. 

Sometimes it is better that you don't know everything before you start your journey.  

Today, challenge yourself to find someone to be a blessing to.  

A response to entitlement.  

There are many things you want to do and there is nothing wrong with that, but if you want make your ideas a reality.  It is important to focus on what you can do now.  Give the necessary energy to your idea.  

You can't run before you walk, so embrace the journey not just the destination.  

How you perceive resistance has a direct effect on how you deal with the obstacles you face in life.  

Scarcity can be manufactured. 

The world can see everything in a negative light including its view of you.  That doesn't mean you have to view yourself that way.  Speak well of yourself in spite of the negativity you hear every day.  

One area I have struggled in is having high expectations and I realized it was rooted in the fear of being disappointed.  I would rather not expect anything than to expect something good and not receive it.  In this episode, I discuss how I am overcoming the fear of disappointment and raising my expectations.  

Growth sometimes requires taking the unbeaten path.  

When you want something it is easy to look for someone's plan to follow but where you are going there is no path paved yet.  

You can't outwork God's grace.  

I can be obsessive about my goals but the more I am desperate to reach them the more I push them away.  There is joy in knowing what you want but you don't have to be desperate to receive it.  You have to have faith and relax.

Social Media can have a hold on our lives.  It can be a benefit when used in moderation, but not everything needs to be shared.  Keep your dreams close to your dream and don't get stuck in idle.  

Expectations can be a good thing but they also can be a burden.  Learning to have expectations but let them go will allow you to experience a greater capacity of love.
