This week in RSM, we looked at John 2:1-12 and talked through all of the things we can learn in this passage. 

This week, we wrapped up chapter 1 of John by talking about John the Baptist and what it meant for him to prepare the way for Jesus.

This week, we started our series going verse-by-verse through the Gospel of John! We looked at verses 1-5 and talked through what it means that Jesus was the Word in the beginning.

This week, we looked at a crazy story from the Old Testament and learned about the effect that our actions have on ourselves and others around us!

This week, we talked about how holy God is and how we should have a healthy fear of God. A healthy fear of God doesn't push us away from God but draws us closer to Him as we recognize our need for Him! 

This week, we continued our series on worship, "More Than a Song." We loved having our SVL Worship Pastor, Jeff Spears, with us as he shared about how remembering God's Word and His promises can lead us to worship in all circumstances!

Are you willing to do whatever it takes to follow Jesus? This week, our SVL Teaching Pastor, Jason, joined us for RSM! We talked about the sacrifice of following Jesus and how we have to be willing to surrender everything for Him! 

This week, we talk about how when we follow Jesus, our lives should look different. We should live differently than before we knew Jesus, but we also need to recognize that we are not there yet and can always be growing! 

We continue our series, "Achilles' Heel," talking about the importance of making prayer a habit in our lives. We have an open communication line with God through Jesus and we often fail to take advantage of that gift. Let's keep it simple and seek Him daily! 

This week, we started a new series, Achilles' Heel. We often have big goals and dreams, but our habits are our biggest weakness or Achilles' heel. In this message, Gabe addresses some bad habits we may have and steps to change those in our pursuit of Jesus! 

" You are responsible for how you spend your time " What we spend our time on reflects our priorities and what we truly care about. This week, Gabe talks about how we can manage our time in a God-honoring way. 

This week, we continued our Christmas series, "A Weary World Rejoices". Gabe talks about how we find hope in times when it seems like God is silent. In between the Old Testament and the New Testament, God was silent for 400 years. However, at the end of the Old Testament, God instructs His people to remember His faithfulness and His promises. We can find hope by resting in the promises of God!
