Kristen has been a leader at Renew since day 1 but this is her first Sunday actually preaching with us! But she starts the entire talk on catfishing which is something she really doesn't understand in the first place, which honestly just makes this whole sermon better.

As Wilson continues his series on Loving God, he ranks where we put our importance on God. God, Family, Church, Job, Friends, Hobbies. At this slide I realized how bad my order was, while God was first I was putting Star Wars second..... I mean that's not the worst right?

Love your neighbor as you love yourself. This part of the sermon hits me the hardest. Mostly cause I love myself so much I can't imagine loving others as much as I love me. But let's be honest, people are pretty great. It isn't that hard to love them right?

Pastor Dave has been dominating the last couple of weeks. We don't know if Wilson needed a break or if Dave is attempting a coup, either way I'm all in.

Wilson opened todays sermon talking about his childhood friends and how they met up recently and played video games together like they did back in high school. As he talked about it he really impressed the fact that this was something you do as a teenager. I'm 27 and I have a regular Halo Night with my friends at least every other month....... I'm afraid to admit this to Wilson.

Dave is one of those guys that can make a serious subject just seem so simple. Very Mr. Rogers like, have I ever talked about how much I love Mr. Rogers? That man is something else, I could go on for hours about him. Look next time you see me bring up Mr. Rogers and just watch as I can't stop talking about that man.

The mustard seed, the most quoted parable ever by Jesus. The faith of a mustard seed, this super tiny little seed is the measurement of faith that is equal to moving a mountain. I've never moved a mountain so obviously I gotta work on this seed. Oh yeah Wilson also explains what happens when that seed begins to grow. Sorry that was the important part.

This sermon immediately starts with talk of Hell, obviously our favorite subject as Christians. So let's see how Wilson tiptoes around Hell without scaring us too much.

Dave is back again speaking on biblical knowledge and the ego that some people can build around their biblical knowledge. Thankfully I'm a dummy so I can't grow that kind of ego, so I in no way felt attacked at all by this sermon. But hey have you read Revelations 36 times like I have? Get on my level.

Wilson talks a lot about calluses in this sermon, and at first I kept thinking about the new calluses I have on my hands from rock climbing (shoutout to my rock climbing peeps). But as I actually listened and wasn't sitting on Reddit, I actually noticed the weird calluses that even I had built up within my relationship with God. So yeah no weird funny stuff today, this is a super good sermon.

When I first came to Renew I thought everyone here was far too nice to be real. I swore this place was a cult. But in reality everyone is just super loving here. Fast forward 4 years and halfway through this sermon Dave has everyone chanting random phrases at him. My suspicion that Renew might be a cult are back. Oh and yeah like I mentioned Dave is speaking so you know this week is super good.

Normally I put funny things here, but it's super hot today and I'm tired. So Wilson spoke today, his title was woes to the city. It's sounds pretty serious you should listen. 3rd week without A/C and counting........

Guess who's back, back again, Dave is back, tell a friend. Dave is back is to talk with us about all of our doubts in life, just like my doubt that this description is funny in any way.

The great Mark Kwong is back everyone, on the worst possible day to be back. Our AC broke on the hottest week of the year, but thankfully Mark is such a cool guy that it was no trouble for him. So let's talk about your calling with God.

Wilson has been talking a bunch about demons lately so yes this whole sermon is about demons naturally. You're going to have fun.
