In our 3rd week of advent, Re:Hope Southside lead pastor, Crooksy, brings us a message on JOY. Drawing from Habakkuk 1, Nehemiah 8 and Luke 2, Crooksy helps us to focus on God as our source of joy and draw strength to maintain that joy even when our circumstances are challenging.

With God there is joy in the wilderness! Laura shares from Habakkuk & explores what it's like to take Joy in Jesus this Christmas, even if today's reality looks so different to God's promised future.

In the 2nd week of Advent, Rita talks about peace, sharing her own personal testimony and looking at Paul’s letter to the Phillippian church. She talks about 3 truths we learn about God’s peace from Paul's letter and how we are reminded of these at Advent.

In this message, Fiona Keatings, Vice Principal of Scotland Bible School, explores the theme of hope within the biblical narrative. We all face situations that leave us feeling hopeless, when it seems nothing will ever change or improve. Fiona reminds us of the certainty of God’s desire and ability to bring healing and restoration to our lives, a truth in which we can firmly place our hope.

When you hold onto hope and put your trust in God, He will make a way for you. "Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength; they will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, walk and not be faint." Isaiah 40:31. Hope in God moves us forward. Keep on seeking and trusting, and placing your future in His hands. God really does love you!

As we conclude our series through Jeremiah, Brian shows us through Jeremiah’s decades of obedience that success is not defined by outward fruit but by faithfulness wherever God has placed us.

On our first Alpha Sunday, Laura looked at the Apostle John, with his amazing understanding of the love of God. She encouraged us to similarly identify with God’s love, and from this place present an invitation to people to ‘come and see’ Jesus.

In part 9 of our series through Jeremiah, Brian explores chapter 38, where Jeremiah faces his darkest moments in the cistern and what this teaches us about boldness in sharing the Gospel.

In part 8 of our Jeremiah series, Brian looks at Jeremiah 31 and the New Covenant. He shares with us that when we say yes to Jesus, we enter into a New Covenant and we became new creations in Him.

Today we are celebrating the Feast of Tabernacles also known as the Feast of Eternity and here at Re:Hope, we often refer to is as the Autumn Feast. Brian talks about how this might be a season of misery for some and a season of joy for others and encourages us to intentionally work through the grief with God to find the path to joy again.
