Stop taking random advice from people. Be a better gatekeeper and pay attention to those who make you think, laugh, and take action. Preferably all three.

Effective leadership isn't a one and done exercise. It is an ongoing process, and could be argued, a lifestyle. Don't use it as a bluff to sell your stuff.

Never deny your emotions. Never deny your dreams. Every day is beautiful, no matter how bleak it seems.

Take yourself lightly and remember, lessons with laughter last longer.

Excellent practitioners of any craft make it look easy to the casual observer.

Very few companies make sure there's alignment between their words and deeds. Creating a vision mission and values is not an administrative box to check. It's your culture.

Begin to think about the kind of leader you must, intend, want, or need to be. As you think about it, you will demonstrate the attributes you find important.

When there's a mismatch between your values and your behavior, you are not being your authentic self and will not reach your optimal potential.

When you're leading, start with love and a generous spirit.

Success requires achieving the desired result AND helping others along the way.
