Reel Window: Rewatching Random Movies from our Childhood
This is a podcast where two sisters, and sometimes a guest, rewatch movies they saw when they were kids and review them. With humour, sarcasm, and random tidbits of info, this is a great listen for anyone born in the 80s, anyone who loves movies, and anyone else whose family speaks complete sections of dialogue as part of their daily conversations.

80: Chad? Who's Chad? 05.04.2022 1:20:34
This week's pick by Lisa is honestly one of our most-quoted movies from childhood. 1996's "That Thing You Do", the directorial debut of Tom Hanks, co-starring in this film with Liv Tyler, Steve Zahn, Giovani Ribisi, Ethan Embri, and a very young, fresh-faced Charlize Theron. This film, set in the 1960's follows the rise of The Wonders, and Eerie, PA band with a catchy tune that shoots a group of y...

78: Someone Named ‘Baby Ruth’? 15.03.2022 1:05:51
Lisa picked the slice of Americana film, The Sandlot. One summer in the life of nine boys in 1950s America. Baseball is life. Smalls hasn’t had a s’more before. The Beast is over the fence, keeping the lost balls from the baseball diamond. Wendy Peffercorn is the pool lifeguard. And Smalls had to learn the hard way who Babe Ruth is. Listen to find out if this 90’s film holds up!
77.5 Triviasode: Someone named ‘Baby Ruth’? 11.03.2022 20:13
It’s another Triviasode! Yay! And once again it’s Lisa’s turn to pick. Her only guarantee is that this week’s mystery film is (most likely) better than “All Dogs Go to Heaven” and “Annie”. High praise indeed. How long until Pauline figures out Lisa’s film?

76: Do Ghosts Have Fleas? 01.03.2022 1:02:37
Woof. This week Pauline and Lisa talk about the 1989 animated film, “All Dogs Go to Heaven”. Another dark film from Don Bluth that has a LOT of age inappropriate content. The sisters adored this movie when they were little and quote it to this day. How do they feel about it now as adults? Is it still beloved? And were their takeaways at all accurate?
75.5 Triviasode: Do Ghosts Have Fleas? 25.02.2022 22:50

This week the sisters have re-watched one of their family’s all-time favourite comedies, 1991’s “Father of the Bride” starring Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Diane Keaton. This comedy was frequently chosen for family movie night and is quoted by the whole Brunnen clan. But how do Pauline and Lisa feel about it now? And will Lisa’s second-hand embarrassment get in the way of the film?
74.5 Triviasode: Welcome to the 90’s, Mr. Banks 18.02.2022 27:56
Pauline picked one that the entire Brunnen clan watched on the regular. A tonne of great actors in this one, along with a crap-tonne of quotes for sure. This is a 90’s beauty that the sisters remember very fondly. What are we watching?? Listen to find out!
